DESCRIPTION:WTT-2024-Table C \n \nDriver:  Roger Smith + Ex Old Oak Common Men! \nSecondman: Jack Walker \nA classic Thousand with classic Fish\, Chips & Real Ale…! \nJoin us on Saturday\, 24th August\, where D1062 Western Courier will be powering the 12.15pm & 3.35pm departures from Kidderminster\, where you can purchase cask ale supplied by the award winning Bewdley Brewery\, from the bar car! \nOriginally built in 1937\, Gresley Buffet Car No. 643 ran into BR ownership\, painted blue & grey around 1965 (this type of coach was often Western hauled on BR Western Region)\, before being withdrawn in 1976. The coach has since been thoroughly overhauled and is the centrepiece to the SVR’s LNER set\, specially fitted out to provide beer from the pumps! \nAlso available on the day will be the classic favourite - fish & chips\, freshly prepared from Captain Cod’s Fish Bar\, which can be collected from the SVR’s friendly meet & greet team on the concourse at Kidderminster\, ready to eat on the 12.15pm & 3.35pm departures.
