D1062 Trains Through The Ages Event

5th July @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm BST

On 5-6 July, we will be showcasing trains through the ages with a busy timetable of trains, the opportunity to visit the Railway 200 Exhibition Train and lots to see and do along the line.

What to expect at Trains Through The Ages: our two day festival of trains through the ages will feature both guest and home locomotives operating a busy timetable between Kidderminster and Hampton Loade. If you and your family love railways, this is the place to be! Ride behind as many engines as you can in historic carriages, visit The Engine House at Highley to break your day (open 9.30am-5.00pm, last entry 4.30pm), and sample the finest real-ales in our pubs. You’ll be able to see modern rail vehicles and visit Inspiration, the Railway 200 Exhibition Train. Perfect for those young and old, experience the Severn Valley!

Locomotives in service:

  • LMS 46115 Scots Guardsman, paired with our BR maroon carriages, with thanks to David Smith and West Coast Railways.
  • GWR 4930 Hagley Hall, paired with GWR carriages.
