Straight Air Brake

D1062 was unable to complete its booked diagram on Saturday, 18th June 2022, due to an over-pressurisation fault with one of the straight air brake relay valves. Fortunately, it is a known problem with an item of equipment that has become obsolete.

Many thanks to those involved in attempting to diagnose the brake fault during the morning. The valve will be inspected again on Wednesday, 22nd June 2022, prior to carrying out stage 1 of the planned 'A' exam and brake test at Kidderminster on Saturday, 25th June 2022.
