D1062 passes Test Run following Winter Maintenance!

After a long Winter of planned maintenance, D1062 Western Courier was finally operational again, following the completion of its B2 exam by Robin Jones, WLA Maintenance & Standards Engineer, and a test run from Kidderminster TMD to Bewdley and back with Driver Darren Shelmerdine and Secondman Alan Berck-May. The locomotive will therefore, be ready to operate over the forthcoming Bank Holiday weekend, with service trains scheduled to be hauled by D1062 on Saturday, 4th May through to Monday, 6th May 2024.

Well done to all those involved with D1062's return to traffic!
