Celebrating diesel preservation, hear the thrash and feel the power as things get very loud across four intensively-timetabled days of diesel traction from Thursday 16 to Sunday 19 May at the Spring Diesel Festival. Locomotives of all classes from all eras of diesel traction will bring noise throughout the Valley. The best of the varied SVR fleet will be joined by special guests – both preserved and currently in main-line operation.
